Alexa Dunn accepts inaugural AI K-12 Student Agency Award on behalf of Oak Grove, Illinois School District!

Alexa Dunn gets #celebratED for accepting the AI K-12 Student Agency Award, a national recognition celebrating 15 school districts that demonstrate ethical AI practices that foster student learning and agency! Award winners were celebrated during a dedicated reception on Friday, March 20th in Anaheim, California. Alexa accepted on behalf of Oak Grove School District 68 located in Green Oaks, Illinois. She shares, “Our commitment to evolving instruction and teaching the skills students will need for their futures is center of the work we do every day. I am deeply appreciative to be recognized for our efforts!” Alexa is the Director of Teaching & Learning for the Oak Grove Schools, where she where she also was involved in the district receiving a National Blue Ribbon Award in September of 2024. We congratulate her and her district for this distinguished recognition, and we look forward to following her leadership as we continue deeper into the age of AI!
