Donna M. Neary gets #celebratED for being named a 2026 Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center (MOHHC) Teacher Fellow! Donna is a English as New Language Specialist with the Hamilton County, Tennessee Schools. Grounded in the belief that students deserve agency, Donna’s practice emphasizes co-creating learning environments where young people feel safe, valued, empowered, and a strong sense of belonging. She also serves as a Re-Imagining Migration Belonging Ecosystems – Education Fellow and a National Geographic Society Grant recipient. We are big fans of this hard-working teacher-leader, and we celebrate her for all the ways she impacts the lives of her students and the communities she serves!
