Dwayne Simmons is a new Principal for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools! He previously served as an Assistant Principal and as a Learning Community Specialist in the same district. He is a champion for equity who believes in achieving “the head work and the heart work to create change in the world for all those that follow.” We celebrate Dwayne in his important new leadership capacity and we cheer him on as he continues in this important work!
