Dr. Janice Gont gets #celebratED as a new College of Education & Social Work Faculty Fellow at Aurora University in Illinois! Prior to this, she served at Aurora as Chair of Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education, Assistant Professor Of Special Education, and as the Chair of Initial Licensure. She also is an ICEC Executive Board Member for the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). Previously, she served K-12 Curriculum Coordinator for Special Education for the West Aurora School District 129, as a Special Education Teacher for the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative at Oswego Community Unit School District 308, and as an Inclusion Facilitator for the LaGrange School District 102, all in Illinois. We honor Janice for her impact in education and special education, in particular, and we know we are going to continue to hear great things from her in this new role!
