Joanne Stocklin gets #celebratED for the Millbury Street Elementary School (MSES) library in Grafton, Massachusetts being dedicated in her name! She has served the Grafton Public Schools for fourteen years, and other schools in Marlborough, Westford and Boylston in Boston’s Metro West region as a Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and most recently, as Interim Human Resources Director since 1999. Prior to this, she taught in the Montgomery County, Maryland Public school system for twelve years. As the library was dedicated, Joanne noted, “I took my final walk through the hallways in the traditional sixth grade clap out fashion. I’ll be forever grateful to the staff, students and families of not only MSES but of all the school communities in Massachusetts, Maryland and Virginia I have had the privilege of serving. As Scott told me this morning ‘This is the start of your 25 year weekend.’” We celebrate Joanne for all the ways she has made a difference through her lifetime of service leadership, and we wish her much love, health and happiness as she begins the next chapter of her story!
