Kim Alvin De Lara gets #celebratED for receiving the 2026 Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators (PIAEE)! He serves as an Elementary/Gifted Education Teacher with the Chandler Unified School District and an Intern in the Army Educational Outreach Program. Prior to this, he was a K-5 Computer Science Teacher for the Maricopa Unified School District. This is Kim's tenth year as an environmental educator, implementing sustainability and climate change initiatives that empower young people to become stewards of our planet and take action to protect the Earth. We salute him for receiving this prestigious award, and we look forward to continuing to follow his work in environmental education!
