Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt gets #celebratED for receiving the AASA & National PTA Excellence in Family Engagement Changemaker Award at the 2026 AASA National Conference on Education on Saturday, February 14th in Nashville! The award celebrates superintendents who integrate family engagement across every level and prove that family-school partnerships aren't an add-on, they're foundational to every child's success. We can’t think of a more apt description of this outstanding superintendent of Alexandria City Public Schools!
