Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt is the recipient of the Eboné Image Award in Education from the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Northern Virginia Chapter! She is Superintendent of the Alexandria City, Virginia Public Schools, and previously served as a board member of Germanna Community College and as the Director of Human Resources for the Spotsylvania County, Virginia Public Schools. She also served with honor as board president and as an advisor to the board of directors for ASCD. We congratulate Melanie on this award, and we look forward to her continued impact in education!
