Mohamed Abass Sankoh gets #celebratED as a new advocate at the United Nations Global Schools Program! He is the co-founder and project developer for the Virtual Media and Information Literacy Organization for Cyber Peace (VMILCOP), launched as a result of the 2018 Global Media and Information Literacy Youth Hackathon competition to decrease the number of victims of rights violations in all forms of media, especially among marginalized groups. Mohamed is also the founder of the Impact International School in Sierra Leone and the advocacy officer of the Impact Youths Organization (IYO) in the Sudan. We applaud him for all the ways he is making a difference, and we are excited to watch him in this new role!
