Richard Lange announces Passage of Illinois Senate Resolution 61 declaring March Whole Child Month!

Richard Lange, Advocacy Chair for Illinois ASCD, is proud to share that his efforts to advocate for the passage of Illinois Senate Resolution 61 are successful, and that the Month of March is declared Whole Child Month throughout the State! In part, the resolution states, "Resolved, by the State of Illinois, that we declare March 2025 as Illinois Whole Child Month to recognize the value of assuring that each student is challenged, supported, healthy, safe and engaged." We congratulate Richard and Illinois ASCD for this excellent example of educators doing important advocacy work on behalf of educators and the children they serve!
