Richard O’Malley gets #celebratED for being named the recipient of the prestigious 2026 Governor’s Award for the Arts by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster! The honor is considered the highest arts award given in the state, and Richard received the recognition for his efforts increasing investments in arts programs and facilities over the last eight years as the Superintendent of the Florence, South Carolina One Schools. Previously, he was Superintendent of Schools for the Edison, New Jersey Public Schools. We congratulate him for this esteemed recognition, and we celebrate him for his support of the arts for everyone in the community!
