Ryan Schaaf new Assistant Dean of Operations at Notre Dame of Maryland University!
Dr. Ryan Schaaf gets #celebratED as the new Assistant Dean of Operations at Notre Dame of Maryland University! He also serves on the graduate faculty at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to this, he has served as a Professor of technology at the university, and as a Technology Teacher for Clarksville Elementary School in Columbia, Maryland. Ryan is the author of multiple books on education, including Literacy Is Still Not Enough: Modern Fluencies for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment, moving beyond traditional literacies to modern fluencies—the unconscious mental processes that are learned, adapted, and applied in the context of real-world problems and challenges. We congratulate Ryan for all the ways he advocates effectively for education, and we look forward to next steps on his leadership journey!
