Sawsan Jaber receives Best Article Award from NCTE’s Conference on English Leadership!

Sawsan Jaber is honored with the Best Article Award for “From Interrogation to Action: Transformative Equity in English Classrooms” in English Leadership Quarterly, Volume 46, Issue 2, Oct 2023, p. 10 – 16! This is one of the NCTE’s Conference on English Leadership highest honors for scholarly contributions to the profession. Sawsan is the English Department Chair at Maine West High School in Park Ridge, Illinois, and she is a panelist on our next Transforming Education panel on November 5th! Congratulations, Sawsan!
