Dr. Sawsan Jaber, English Department Chair at Maine West High School, received the 2024 English Leadership Quarterly Best Article Award from the Conference of English Leadership (CEL) for her scholarly journal titled, “From Interrogation to Action: Transformative Equity in English Classrooms.” She was presented the award in Boston this month at the CEL annual conference. We applaud Sawsan for her continued excellent work advocating for what is good and best for children and for education!
