Dr. Shellon Samuels-White gets #celebratED for defending her dissertation, “Transforming faculty assessment practices through professional development: An action research study at a teacher training institution in Jamaica,” earning her Doctorate of Education in Educational Practice and Innovation! Shellon serves as Student Assessment Officer and Learning Facilitator at The Mico University College in Kingston, Jamaica, and she is the Guest Editor of the first-ever showcase issue of our Legacy Journal, dedicated to Jamaican Education. We celebrate Shellon for attaining this degree of distinction, and we are excited for her next steps as a change agent in education both in Jamaica and around the world!
