Shellon Samuels-White presented at Germany’s International Young Researchers’ Conference, sharing her research with educators all over the world, not only the science of learning but also how culture impacts perspectives and practices in different countries. Shellon is the Student Assessment Officer and a lecturer at The Mico University College in Kingston Jamaica and a Worthy Educator Leader. She also recently published “Why Fix What Isn’t Broken? Challenging Longstanding Assessment Practices in Higher Education Teacher-Training Institutions” in the current issue of our Legacy Journal, and we will be interviewing her live online Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 7pm et. We congratulate her in expanding the impact of her work globally, and we know there is much more to come!
